Frequent Questions

We will build a marquee to fit your requirements so please call us to discuss your event and we will give you an indication of size.

Our main service is providing marquee hire in Dorset, although we are happy to quote and provide our services outside of this area.

Although we do have individual prices for each marquee size, very few clients hire just the shell, therefore prices vary depending on what other products you may wish to hire. Prices are therefore calculated on an individual basis.  Example prices and package can be clicking on our page here.

In all instances we make arrangements with the client to establish the best time to erect the marquee. Its common for weddings in particular to be erected early to allow you time to decorate.

Garden marquees are common for us, which is why we have a page giving you more detail and pricing.  Here it is:

Garden Party Marquees Page

Yes we do.  You can see pics and find out more information about the Luxury Toilet Trailers by seeing them on our equipment page.

We regularly provide dance floor hire in Dorset and not just in our marquees, so the short answer is yes you can. Simply contact us for a size, price and possible delivery charge, then for the fee we deliver, install and collect at a time to suit you.

You can indeed. We shall try our best to allow you to see an existing job we are currently working on, however if this is not possible you can always come to our unit. Here you will be able to view the majority of our products including the marquees, as long as they aren’t booked out on a job.

It will vary based upon the spec of the marquee you have hired.  Smaller marquees like for garden parties can take a couple of hours, wedding marquees we allow a full day.  Distance from base is another factor.

Yes! Why not take a look at Wilkswood Wedding Venue, one of Dorsets unique and rather special places.  Another is Studland Bay House which is just gorgeous.

Yes.  Different clients have different needs so call us to dicuss. We do installs for temporary storage solutions on long term, and we also have wedding venues with a seasonal install situation.  Anything is possible.

Our modular system starts a small as 3m x 3m and increases in width upto 12m in 3m increments.  The length can be as long as needed on all widths, again incrementing in 3m bays.

Within reason.  It is normally dictated by the potential risk of the marquee blowing away, therefore we ask how exposed is the area, for example is it a cliff edge where weather maybe terrible, and can we secure it probably.  Our marquees can withstand around 65MPH so as long as it can be secured then yes.

No put obviously it is easier and therefore cheaper for the client. If the ground is uneven then we have various flooring and levelling solutions.

No.  Marquees are not licensed to hold your marriage ceremony.  You can do the official part in a licensed venue such as a registry office and use a celebrant to host a ceremony anywhere you wish which could be in a marquee, your guests will never know.

You need a 6m x 12m for 60 seated guests or 6m x 9m for 60 standing guests.

We are VAT registered and this means VAT is added to all prices. This will be clearly shown on any quotations we provide.
