When it comes to your wedding the little finishing touches can really make a difference. Rustic wedding charm is everywhere at the moment, its chic, romantic, eclectic and so inviting. It can also be eco and budget friendly which is music to anyones ears!!!
In our experience couples love adding fun and eclectic decorations to their wedding day. With its organic textures, shapes and colours ‘rustic style’ embraces them all. You can make savings in repurposed materials and use mother nature as your backdrop. It really is a ‘labour of love.’
Flowers can be expensive but what would a wedding be without them? They are so important. Luckily enough there are many ways to have creative and personal wedding flowers on a budget, such as freshly picked wildflowers and greenery from relatives or friends gardens. These can be used in centrepieces, bouquets, button holes and even your hair. It’s earthy, back to basics and looks amazing for any eco friendly, outdoor or garden wedding. We are even starting to see berries, fruits and vegetables used at weddings for all of the above and the use of rustic twigs and branches to bring centre pieces together. It’s very cool and embraces rustic, boho and eco all in one.

When you are thinking rustic wedding and budget – lighting is a great use of your money. Creative lighting can help you set the ideal atmosphere for your wedding. They add glow and romance with ease and with so much suspended wedding decoration out there its a great way to create an intimate ambiance. Hanging lights and strings of lights, gentle uplighting and pin spots are perfect for a wedding reception but also for an amazing photo and ceremony backdrop.
Candles are also a great way to light your rustic wedding and really add to the romance. It’s a lovely and inexpensive way to incorporate lighting into your wedding. Candles can range from tea lights in glass vases to pillar candles surrounded by flowers. They offer a sweet amber light that is warm and true rustic wedding charm.
Signs and Backdrops
Re claimed wood like shipping pallets are a great way to create rustic wedding charm. We love seeing imaginative and fun signs, backdrops, tables and flower chandeliers at weddings.
